Global energy company Reganosa strengthens its position in Asia-Pacific and consolidates its global expansion by operating on all five continents.
Reganosa Group continues to strengthen its global presence with a new milestone in its global expansion. Following an international selection process, it has been chosen by Squadron Energy to carry out the operation and maintenance of the onshore part of the liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal at Port Kembla, New South Wales.
The contract, which has just been signed, marks Reganosa’s arrival in Oceania, allowing it to complete its presence on all five continents and consolidating its role in the Asia-Pacific region. Australia joins other countries such as Bangladesh, China, the Philippines, Hong Kong, India, Jordan, Kuwait, Malaysia, East Timor and Vietnam.
Reganosa has just signed the operation and maintenance contract for the onshore part of the Port Kembla FSRU terminal, developed by Squadron Energy. This project is not only its first contract in Australia, but also a first-rate reference in the floating terminal segment, a rapidly growing market. The contract, with an initial duration of five years and the possibility of extending it to eight, includes preservation, operation and maintenance work on the onshore terminal, and is adapted to the seasonality of the country’s energy demand, allowing the FSRU to be temporarily disconnected and the facility to be kept in optimal condition for reactivation.
