Whether one is trying to cook up a storm or power a farm, Supagas’ liquefied petroleum gas bulk storage options cater to a range of uses.
The company is one of Australia’s leading suppliers of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), thanks to its made-to-measure LPG gas deliveries available at every corner of the country.
Supagas Business Development Manager – Bulk LPG John Scanu said the company is all about providing its clients with the best suited solution.
“When it comes to a bulk installation, we try and solve any issues that our customers may have with the best vaporisation or tank sizing, for each individual application” he said.
“We try and make it streamlined and beneficial for the customer.”
Supagas Business Development Manager – Bulk LPG Paul Saltau, who specialises in providing transport hubs with LPG, couldn’t agree more with his colleague.
“We have a diverse range of products and capabilities for all installations,” he said.
“Our ability to provide bulk LPG is Australia wide, we’re available to do diverse installations along with technical installations.”
Supagas LPG Bulk Vessels have domestic, agricultural, and commercial applications. Bulk LPG supply is for high volume users of LPG.
Domestic uses include cooking and heating, while industrial uses can include decanting, fuel for forklifts, and powering gas generators and large scale shed heating.
“We’ve got a lot of different applications especially where I am in regional New South Wales,” Scanu said.
“We have a vast area of agricultural land here, and our customers need LPG for diverse applications, and our client portfolio is all the more diversified.”
Supagas offers bulk LPG in 90kg, 190kg, 210kg and bullet tank sizes. 210kg LPG cylinders are tailored for large gas volumes, holding approximately 420 litres of LPG. Supagas’ bulk vessels can hold exorbitant volumes, typically providing LPG to power infrastructure on chicken farms, Greenhouses and mine sites.
“We have got an array of very diverse clients, including chicken farms, gold mines and cotton GIN factories,” Scanu said.
“Once we have calculated the amount of LPG that needs to be delivered and on what days, we deliver it with our own dedicated transport delivery vehicles.”
In commercial usage, more liquid LPG generally needs to be vaporised, so a larger vessel is required for expansion space (ullage). Industrial tank sizes can weigh anything from 0.5 tonnes to 50 tonnes and more.
The tanks are made from welded steel and are designed to withstand the pressures of heat expansion.
“Each individual application is different,” Scanu said.
“Storage tanks have different installation requirements, so it all depends on the job.”
