Bass impacted by lower oil production

Bass oil production

Bass Oil’s total sales revenue for February 2024 was over $500,000, down 28.7 per cent compared to January levels.

The company had a daily oil production averaging 221 barrels of oil per day (bopd) for the month, with total monthly production totalling 6398 barrels.

Bass noted that revenues in February were impacted by the lower oil production. Total sales revenue was $542,487 net to Bass Oil.

Total Cooper Basin monthly production was 2795 barrels produced and 1724 barrels sold at an average oil price of $129.99 per barrel, up 6.6 per cent on January levels due to higher oil prices and “favourable” exchange rate movements, according to the company.

Daily production averaged 96 bopd in February, down 6.8 per cent on January levels.

Across its Worrior and Padulla facilities, there was no unplanned downtime and production from the wells was broadly steady.

A wireline unit was mobilised to site in early February to replace a suspected worn pump in Padulla 3 and to perform zone changes in the Worrior 1, 6 and 8 wells.

This optimisation work is expected to result in an increase in production to over 100 bopd.
