Nominations are now officially open for the 2026 Utility Awards.
Presented in partnership with Australia’s leading utilities, a brand-new awards program dedicated to recognising excellence across Australia’s utilities sector has officially launched, with the 2026 Utility Awards set to take place in Melbourne this October.
From electricity, gas and renewables to water and network infrastructure the awards celebrate the leader’s driving innovation, resilience and progress in Australian utilities.
The awards dinner will be held at Evoque Events in Melbourne on 27 October 2026, bringing together industry leaders and professionals from across the country for a night of celebration and connection.
“The utilities sector is evolving rapidly, and these awards are designed to shine a spotlight on the leaders and innovators setting new benchmarks for the industry,” said Caitlyn Douglas head of awards and conferences at Prime Creative Media.

“The award categories have been carefully designed to reflect the breadth and diversity of the utilities sector, while creating meaningful opportunities to recognise the outstanding individuals, teams and organisations driving the industry forward,” said Douglas.
Nominations are encouraged from utilities of all sizes, industry partners, contractors and suppliers who are delivering outstanding projects, leadership, sustainability initiatives or operational achievements. By nominating, organisations can celebrate their success and highlight the people and processes making a meaningful difference to customers, communities and the future of the industry.
