Representatives from leading oil and gas producers are being joined by some of the biggest service and supply companies and participants from academia, industry bodies and government from around the world to provide three days of unique insights and the unveiling of exciting new technologies.
The AOG 2018 conference will feature three, free-to-attend forums – titled Collaboration, Knowledge and Subsea – which will be staged in purpose-designed theatres within the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre (PCEC) exhibition halls from Wednesday 14 March through Friday 16 March.
The forums will feature presentations from spokespeople from global and local oil and gas companies such a such as Chevron, Shell, Woodside and Quadrant and leading international service and supply providers such as Baker Hughes, Deloitte, DNV, Halliburton, Intecsea, Monadelphous, Subsea 7, Technip FMC, Wood Group and Wood Mackenzie, along with experts from key industry, academia and government bodies.
The Collaboration Forum was one of the major attractions at AOG 2017 – and with the content for this year’s event sculptured by a committee comprised of representatives from Shell, Chevron, Woodside, Deloitte, NERA and the Government of Western Australia – the information presented will be world class.
AOG 2018 organiser, Diversified Communications, has also pulled together an outstanding program of networking events that will fit the needs of all participants and attendees.
Leading the way is the thought-provoking AOG Diversity & Inclusion Breakfast which will feature Woodside Chief Operations Officer, Mike Utsler; Shell Australia General Manager, Michael Schoch; Chevron’s Senior HR Aboriginal Employment Consultant, Rishelle Hume; and Wise Coordinator/Director, Allison Selman.
An exciting new addition to the AOG 2018 calendar is the AOG Festival a free-to-attend networking and entertainment zone featuring pop-up food vendors, bars and entertainment, while the Subsea Welcome Drink will again kick-off proceedings.
Industry insiders and those wanting to join the sector, will also be able to hear and see first- hand what is happening in an Australian oil and gas industry that is rebounding from the recent industry downturn at the specialist “Zone”? areas on the Exhibition floor.
The always popular Subsea; Health, Safety and Environment; and Instrumental Control and Automation zones will be joined by the new Asset Integrity Zone at AOG 2018.
Other exciting new additions to the AOG programe this year are the NERA Technology and Skills Hub – a dynamic, interactive forum featuring technology demonstrations, skills insights and presentations from thought leaders and practitioners – and the NERA SME ConnectER, a facilitated process that will connect established SMEs that have innovative products or services with champions from LNG operators and contractors.
At the same time companies and government groups from around the globe will be showing off their wares and unveiling the latest technologies and ideas when the AOG Exhibition is staged for the 37th time.
