Only two weeks until QGCE 2015

The event will cover a range of key topics, while maintaining a strong focus on transitioning to the operations and maintenance phase within the CSG-LNG industry.

Reed Exhibitions are proud to announce the addition of two new workshops to the event line-up. Firstly there is the addition of Maintenance Shutdowns, which is a paid workshop led by John Bowie, Managing Director from Palm Crest.

The second workshop, which is split into two sessions, is a complimentary workshop thanks to KBC. Sessions are: Make cost savings today – Best Practice Energy Performance Improves Profitability Today, and Do you want to wait to learn from big data or do you want real time information now? which are both led by Allan Rudman, VP Energy Services, KBC and Howard Thomas, Executive Consultant, Advisian. Seating is limited for both workshops, so be sure to book your seat online.

The Queensland Gas Conference will provide delegates with sessions based on current focuses within the industry, that also relate directly to one or more of the event’s four key pillars: digital gas field, drilling, maintenance and workforce.

These focus areas include:

  • Surat Basin CSG factory drilling – best in HSE and operational performance (drilling, digital gas field)
  • Maintenance optimisation in the Australian LNG Industry – the contractor’s role (maintenance)
  • Understanding how to embed community engagement in infrastructure projects – best practice frameworks and case study examples (workforce)
  • Panel: Economic outlook: Optimising our delivery and performance – what have we learned and how are we leveraging our experiences to build a mature industry economic outlook (digital gas field, drilling, maintenance, workforce)
  • Creating pathways for staff to transition into new roles (workforce)

These conference sessions will be delivered by industry leading representatives from private enterprise, industry groups and research institutions. Organisations such as KBC, ThyssenKrupp and Fuji Xerox are key sponsors and will also be represented as speakers at the conference.

With two engaging days of educational seminars, mini training sessions, workshops, a range of quality exhibitors including Depth Logistics, GRT, Pressure & Safety Systems, and the opportunity to network with potential suppliers, partners and customers, this event will prove to be a valuable business opportunity for all industry professionals in CSG-LNG and related industry sectors.
