Production up for Bass Oil

Strike Erregulla

Through its activities in the Cooper Basin, Bass Oil recorded a two per cent increase in oil production for the month of June.

Total sales revenue for June totalled $744,975 and daily oil production averaged 264 barrels of oil per day (bopd).

Production numbers increased by two per cent from May numbers, with the group recording 7939 barrels for the month.

Within the Cooper Basin, Bass Oil produced 3023 barrels and sold 2178 at an average price $128.24 per barrel.

At Kiwi 1, the company announced that earthworks on the access road had been completed. The only remaining work is the installation of the well cellar.

Due to unexpected weather events, the mobilisation of a rig to the well to carry out the extended production test is not expected until early August.

Within PEL 182, global technology company SLB completed the build of the geomechanical model which is now being calibrated with formation integrity and rock strength data obtained from wells adjacent to the study area in PEL 182.

The model will advise the most effective manner to drill and frac wells within the permit area.

Results from this initial phase are expected in July 2024.
