Technicians can insert standard probes without disturbing field wiring, and in the case of fuse terminals, measurements can be made before and after the fuse in both open and closed positions. This reduces downtime and ensures consistent, repeatable diagnostics.
Shielding & performance
Signal integrity is protected with flexible shielding options. Engineers can choose to connect shields directly to protective earth (PE) via the DIN rail or to a potential-free busbar, reducing the risk of ground loops in sensitive instrumentation circuits. On top of that, the W2C/W2T fuse versions feature low leakage current, no more than 500 µA at nominal voltage in BFI circuits, helping to maintain reliable signal transmission.
