Valmec wins supply contract for Vector Gas’s Auckland project

The contract is for Vector’s compression project in Auckland.

The packages will be designed and manufactured by Exterran Offshore, a subsidiary of international oil and gas company Exterran Corporation. Exterran’s work will be undertaken at its Singapore facilities.

“We are delighted to have secured this contract and look forward to further expanding our East Coast and New Zealand markets,”? Valmec Managing Director Steve Dropulich said.

With a contract value of approximately $4.3 million, works on the project are expected to commence immediately, with the start-up and commissioning phases expected to be completed by mid-2017.

Earlier last year, Valmec was awarded a facilities construction contract for APA Group’s 292 km Eastern Goldfields Gas Pipeline in Western Australia.
