Wood Group PSN has won a contract extension to provide engineering support to Esso Australia’s Gippsland Basin offshore facilities in the Bass Strait.
Under this new contract it will provide engineering, procurement and construction services to the Gippsland Basin Joint Venture (an operation between BHP Billiton and ExxonMobil) offshore facilities and its onshore facilities as the Longford Gas Plant.
The company did not give a valuation of the contract.
It is slated to start this month.
Commenting on the win, Wood Group managing director Andrew Stewart stated that the company has “been supporting Esso Australia in the Bass Strait for 17 years and we are delighted to continue our relationship”.
