SRG Global has secured a four-year contract to provide equipment to Woodside Energy’s North West Shelf project and gas facilities in Western Australia.
The new contract was awarded for the provision of scaffold and access equipment to the North West Shelf project, as well as other Woodside-operated onshore and offshore locations, including the Pluto gas plant and King Bay supply facility.
The North West Shelf project is an investment of more than $34 billion among six international companies in a joint venture (JV). It accounts for the supply of one-third of oil and gas in Australia.
Meanwhile, Pluto gas processing facility boasts an average annualised capacity of 4.7 million tonnes per year, which is an increase from 4.3Mt/y since commencing operations.
SRG Global will be responsible for the supply, maintenance, storage, transport and handling of the scaffold and access equipment, in addition to supplying specialist labour resources as required.
The new contract follows the conclusion of an existing four-year agreement between the two companies.
SRG Global was formed through a merger between SRG and Global Construction Services last month, after acquiring the TBS Group in March this year.
